Mya Durham

Mya (she/her) is a star at creating warm, inviting, and supportive environments. Born and raised in Chicago, Illinois, her passion for care and counsel began as a young girl and has since blossomed into a professional career in family planning and caregiving. As the youngest of three sisters, she was introduced to both the miracles and hardships of pregnancy, birthing, and postpartum care at a very young age. In fact, Mya credits her dynamic family structure with helping her to empathize with married, single, and teen moms alike. Understanding the value of partnerships in family planning, she, now, prides herself on being the professional partner and confidant to the sorority of women needing time, attention, community, and care. Mya best describes this as her dedicated service to sisterhood!

Mya currently attends Central Michigan University where she is a senior studying Psychology and Early Childhood Development. During her free time, she enjoys traveling, reading books, spending time in nature, practicing her faith, cooking, and spending time with her family. Mya is a trained birth and postpartum doula through DONA and is currently working on her certifications. Mya supports families in Northern Michigan, West Michigan and SW Michigan.
