Sara Sper

Sara, a Rockford native, brings a unique perspective to her doula services after years of having the opportunity to travel around the world for work. It was during her travels that Sara realized her passion for supporting new mothers as a doula. Witnessing the value of a strong sense of community and care for new moms in different cultures, Sara recognizes the importance of postpartum support. Also, having years of experience as a transitional foster parent and her desire to help others, Sara is dedicated to filling the gap in postpartum care through providing compassionate support to mothers during their 4th trimester.

Having spent 20 years with her husband and raising two daughters of her own, Sara understands the joys and various challenges of motherhood. She loves the idea of a village coming together to support new moms and is fully committed to being a part of that village for her clients.

With a love and desire towards helping others combined with an unwavering, caring, and nurturing spirit; Sara is dedicated to assisting mothers as they navigate this exciting new chapter of their lives.

During her free time, you will find Sara taking long walks in nature accompanied by her four mischievous and energetic pet goats.  Sara also loves reading, dancing, and spending quality time with family and friends.
