Ryleigh was raised in Grand Haven, but now lives in Muskegon with her husband Brody, and their two little girls, Penelope & Gemma. She has always loved kids and watched after them in many different roles. She babysat at young age through high school, was a full time nanny for newborn twins, and has been a part of various children’s ministry teams at church while working in the nursery.
Since a young age she has always had a servant’s heart that was extremely eager to serve others and make a difference. Ryleigh had always been interested in being a part of a woman’s “village”, lending a helping hand or a listening ear, and providing support wherever she can. Although she wasn’t quite sure where she could turn her passion into a profession, when she had her two daughters she realized just how extremely important it was for women to have the support they needed in such a vulnerable and sacred part of their life. Ryleigh had truly felt a “now or never” calling to become a doula!
In 2023, Ryleigh got certified with ProDoula as a labor doula and is excited to serve families in West Michigan.
Ryleigh believes that after having two total opposite births of her own, and a loss in-between, there is no right way to get a baby earth side, and will support each and every family as they desire. She will be your listening ear, snack runner, cheerleader, and gentle presence to depend on during your birth. Women can do far more than society gives them credit for, and she is here to educate and empower women as they become the mother they were built to be. When not working, Ryleigh likes to bake, eat Mexican food, and watch rom coms. She can be found going on adventures with her girls, roaming the aisles of target, or “attempting” DIY projects around her house.
