Mariah Largent
Postpartum & Infant Care Doula
Mariah is a ProDoula-certified postpartum doula serving families throughout the northern areas, based in the West Branch region. She is committed to providing knowledgeable, compassionate, and nonjudgmental support to parents during the postpartum period. She believes the transition into parenthood is a significant life change, and individualized postpartum care can make a meaningful difference for families during this time.
Her decision to become a postpartum doula was guided by a desire to support parents during a vulnerable and transformative season. She recognized the importance of consistent, reliable postpartum support and sought to offer reassurance, education, and practical assistance as families adjust to life with a newborn. Her goal is to help parents feel confident, supported, and empowered throughout their postpartum journey.
In her practice, she focuses on providing personalized care that respects each family’s values and unique needs. This may include emotional support, evidence-based education, and hands-on assistance, all with the intention of fostering a calm, nurturing environment that promotes rest, recovery, and confidence.
Outside of her professional role, she is a parent to a sweet boy who brings immense joy to her life and further strengthens her understanding of the postpartum experience. She values time spent with family, enjoys traveling, and loves visiting her siblings who live out of state. She also appreciates the summer months and has a strong interest in cooking, baking, and gardening; interests that reflect her appreciation for nourishment, balance, and creating supportive home environments, which align closely with her approach to postpartum care.
