10th Annual Gold Coast Doulas Diaper Drive Results
We are so grateful to everyone who supported our 10th Annual Diaper Drive with Nestlings Diaper Bank of West Michigan and the Great Start Parent Coalition. This milestone year was especially meaningful as we celebrated a decade of collecting diapers and wipes to help local families in need across Kent, Ottawa, and Allegan counties.
Our goal this year was to collect 20,000 diapers, but like many community efforts, we felt the impact of a challenging economy and a variety of financial pressures that affected giving. Even so, our community showed up with incredible heart. Together, we collected 8,424 diapers and 110 packs of wipes. Every single one will go directly to families navigating hardship. Gold Coast Doulas also donated $300 to Nestlings to further support their cause.
Diapers may seem small, but they make a big impact. They are not covered by government assistance programs, and as costs rise, many parents are forced to make difficult choices between essentials. Your donations help ease that burden by offering comfort, dignity, and hope for local families.
